Confusion regarding changed in off campus work permit rule

Hi to all,

I am going for may session and new work permit rule will be apply from 1st june so i fal under old rule category that i have to wait for 6 months or i can apply my off campus work permit from 1st June?

its not clear as of now what will happen to people who already have a study permit. we have to wait for the new rules to come out.

u can try calling ur local CHC but some members here have got the same response that i said above .

yes jasveer you are under old category rules ,you have to w8 for 6 months to do work . new rules will take effect from 1st june cic website says
