A friend of mine just told me that if we don’t mention about little kids in the host family in the invitation letter it is equivalent to misrepresentation? Like that would have an impact if it’s a TRV for grandparents.. Is that true?.

Thanks

I don't think there is a general rule for this. But I think it is better to mention it (even if very briefly) to be safe.

An extreme case could be, if your kids are newborn, and you don't mention this, and the parents continue to work full time with minimal parental leave taken, IRCC might suspect grandparents were here to work as caretakers (even unpaid, it is still work).

But then again, though. If people do mention about the kids then chance of getting refusals are even more on the same ground that the grandparents might never leave.. I guess there’s a fine line..
