My official title was postdoctoral fellow, my work permit said that I am software developer.
I chose what is written in a work permit.
The main thing - reference letter should correspond to NOC that you specified in your application

Please put occupation as per your company designation, which is on your reference letter.

Under "Occupation", write your actual job title according to your employer reference letter.

It is important for each of your employer reference letters to list duties that closely resemble the NOC code for which you are claiming that experience.

It is not important for your job title to be a precise match to one of the example job titles they provide.

In IMM0008 ( main form) you can put current occupation "Software & Computer sys and Evaluators" and intended occupation "Software & Computer sys and Evaluators" but IMM0008 Scheduled put Test Analyst and write 3 to 4 major duties ( else put 2 duties and put a comment for more duties please refer additional sheet ) add an additional sheet specifying all your duties matching with your NOC

Hi Guys,

I've couple questions about the IMM 0008 as well.

1-National identity document

Should it be any National ID or other document (Passport) from my back country? Or i can use my Canadian Driver licence as a national identity document?

2-Education/Occupation Detail

What is the difference between Post Secondary and Post Graduation?
I got Global Logistics & Supply Chain Program at Seneca College - Originally 2 semesters but i completed in 3 semesters.

in this section what should i choose Post Secondary or Post Graduation? And how many years? Just 1 year?

Thanks,

Also,

I called the call center recently to ask about the Immigration office requested for processing this application.

I was told that CPP Ottawa is the right one but in the of Document Check list it states that the application package should be send to Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Which one is the right one?

-- it should be your country of nationality's national ID if you have one. Canadian Driver's License is not your National ID.

2-Education/Occupation Detail

What is the difference between Post Secondary and Post Graduation?
POST SECONDARY - is a College/University Degree or Diploma
POST GRADUATION - is your masters

Put CPP-Ottawa as the immigration office, but send the application package to CIO-Sydney.

The National ID question doesn't apply to everyone. It's not your passport, as there's already a question for that.

Thanks,

So, should I leave the Natioanl ID section blank? I have a national ID but doesn't have expiration date on it. Only issue date, ID# and family information.

Also, what is this Self addressed mailing stamps about?
