Hi
According to this Law, which has disrupted a few people, of which one of them is me.
Facts:

CAme to Canada in Sept 2007.
Received confirmation of Permanent residence on May 16, 2013.
Did landing July 10, 2013.
Received PR card on August 10th, 2013.

According to my confirmation of Permanent residence, i am eligible to apply under the Law before BIll-c24 and according other document dates i will have to apply under the new B-C24 law.
I have been here approx 7 years.
Under the new rule i wont be able to apply till 2017.
WTF should i do?

Also it says under the old law, u have to complete 3 years of PR but not physical presence. INcase ure phyiscal presence is short your, case is decided by a citizen judge. ????

What dates whould i consider for becoming permanent residence.?
I was on vacation for 1 month so my time will complete on June 16, 2015 under the old law.

You started as a PR on the date that you landed.

In order to apply for citizenship you need at least 2 years as PR.

You landed on July 10,2013. Even under the old law you need 2 years presence minimum as a PR which takes you to July 2015 as your eligible date of application.
