First question - does your present and/or past duties match with the duties in 2173 ?

Yes most of Roles and Responsibilities are of 2173 and some of 2174 as well for previous companies with designation "Programmer".

You can ignore the designation.

Since you said "most" of the match is with 2173 i would suggest you go with 2173.

All the more reason to avoid 2174 which is a HOT NOC.

Hi Nishesh,
yes most of the R & R's include that of 2173 and some from that of 2174 for my previous companies with the designation "Programmer".
Would it be a problem. In the above link I am unable to understand what those Exclusions mean.
Thanks

The designations need not match.

What in particular are you referring to in the exclusions ?

what do you mean by notarized reference letter ?

Is it not ok to provide original reference letter on a plain paper from a co-worker describing all role & responsibility with business card attached ?

Thanks.

Thats fine. If you can get it notarized - even better. Any way you will have to include supporting documents such as employment contracts, payslips etc.

Can you please evaluate if to which NOC these Roles and Responsibilities justify

Thank you, buddy.
I was searching for my NOC code. I can see you are also Salesforce Developer.
Cheers Mate!

I am confused as some of my job responsibilities overlap with both the NOC 2173 and 2174. I have total of 4 years of experience.

My current designation is Senior Engineer -Product Development at company 1 (1.5 yrs)
previously (2.5 yrs)
Senior System Engineer at company 2
System Engineer at company 2

I have several doubts

-->Could you please advice under which NOC I need to apply as my roles and responsibilities match both 2173 and 2174
-->Would it be a problem applying to NOC 2174 since my designations previously held were "Systems Engineer" which are under 2173?
--> Or NOC 2174 a safer bet?
-> Will selecting 2173 or 2174 impact job opportunities in Canada, because i am more into coding.
-> On employment reference from company 2, i have designations Systems Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer
Thanks
