Confusion about the processing date

Good day guys,
I just linked my paper application to my GC account, now my question is why it is showing that i submitted my application Nov 23 when i actually submitted it VAC at August 08? Are they gonna count the processing time from today or my first submitting date at VAC? Even i see there is no slight changes on my application status :-X

Well that date is the date of you linking the application not the submission date of your application. I can be so sure as I am facing the similar situation.
