Confusion about the photo to provide ITA

Hello all,

I have been gathering all my documents after having received my ITA last month. As i am about to apply I am a bit confused regarding the photo specifications I am finding here and on CIC wesbite.

It seems like there is no official guidelines as most of them I have seen here differs a bit. Can anyone please point me to the right specifications for 2019?

I have used this specification https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445eb-e.pdf to have a printed copy. Now, I am wondering about scanning them I don't have any specification for that.

You are using the incorrect specification sheet. The link you mentioned is for hard copy photos to be submitted AFTER you receive your passport request.
You do not need to provide hard copies of your photographs while submitting your e-APR - only a digital copy is to be attached.
The specs of the digital image can be found by clicking the question mark box next to the item listed in the document checklist.
It asks for the final frame size of the photo to be at least 35 mm x 45 mm (minimum 420 x 540 pixels).

I did not quite understand what you meant? You mean the checklist in CIC portal when you are submitting your ITA? I don't see those specifications for the scanned digital copies.

In your document checklist, in the row titled 'Digital Photo', you have a blue circle with a question mark (under the Instructions column).
Clicking that will let you see the specifications for the digital photo.
