Confusion about how to send PPR documents to New York VO

Folks, new in this group...not sure if this was discussed...

How long does IRCC take to stamp passport and send COPR once they receive package from VAC? Any insights here will be helpful....

We sent our passports for stamping on Feb 28th to New York office and were received by them on March 1st. Our packages were opened on March 17th and were dispatched to IRCC the same day. Since then, we see the same tracking status "Your application, tracking ID No. ******** has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office on 2022/03/18"

Hi @veemi002 Thanks for the info! Just curious, how many working days did it take b/w when you got "your application is at IRCC" and "dispatched from IRCC to VFS" status emails? My status switched to "your application is at IRCC" on March 18. So just wondering when I can expect passport back, and the intermediate steps timelines.

Also, is Apr 28 the date of your medical expiry? My and my spouse's medical expires in Dec 2022, but my child medical will be valid till Feb 2023. So I am wondering if the CoPR expiry date is based on principal applicant medical expiry date.

Are you able to find any info? We are in the same boat, passport reached IRCC office on March 18th...same status

I would say after 12 working days you will receive updates.

Customer care rep says 14-16 working days

I am not sure about this, but as of last week, it was only taking 3 working days b/w passport reaching IRCC office and IRCC sending out stamped passport to VFS. I think now it is taking longer (may be 8-10 working days or so) based on @gvrt88 and @veemi002 experience. So I am hoping to get the passport back sometime next week.

I hope it does not take that much time! I am shifting from my current residence next Tuesday! I thought 1 month for stamping and getting COPR is more than enough but looks like I am running short of time..

No updates yet. Not even in the IRCC portal. Last update was a generic VFS email saying my packet was delivered to NY VAC.

Mar 23rd I received my passport along with copr.

My medical was done on Apr 15 2021 and visa expiry date in passport is Apr 28, 2022

Thanks. Did you get an email when the IRCC application account got updated? Or is it like a ghost update without email.

Alright great!!! Could you share your timelines... when did your status change to application so and so with tracking ID *** has been received by IRCC and is under process. Trying to understand how much time IRCC takes to stamp visa and generate COPR

No email. Just the status changed in the portal to 'Application updated' and I could see the new unexpired counter foil details that they apparently attached to my passport. It's not a Ghost update per se, as I still see updated details when I click on the application details.
