Hi Guys....

I have a query to all ....
I wrote the IELTS exam on NOVEMBER 8th.and scored

List: 7.0
Spek:6.5
Read:6.5
Writing:5.5

and i got sum of 66 points in which i was not eligible for PR.

Now i have wrote again the IELTS and waiting for the results.
But according to the new policy the IELTS score is changed List:7.5 and Speak,Read and Writing:6.5

So if i calculate now seems like i am eligible with the old score.
i am getting 68 with the Old score...

Can i go ahead with that
that is: IELTS score which i gave on November 8th ?

I look forward for the reply..
Thanks in advance

Cheers
Hrithik...........

Yes, they are supposed to grade you after the new rules if your IELTS is newer than Nov 28 or your application is made after Nov 28 or if you gain points from being graded from the new rules so you should be good to use that IELTS.

Hi Leon,

I wanted to discuss with you this point -

if you gain points from being graded from the new rules so you should be good to use that IELTS

Is there any official word from Consulate General about of re-assessment of file with new rules OR Do we need to ask for it. Actually I am gaining points with the new rules but my application was filed earlier than Nov 28..

Thanks,
