Dear Michaltrewaz said:Hi ESZB,
Thank you for the clarification.
I have already sent my application under NOC category, without the job offer, but don't think I will have much luck as I am more than 2 months behind other candidates.
For that reason, I was thinking if it's a good idea to call some employers in Canada saying that I am happy to arrange the paperwork on my side including the removal and flight cost. I could then update my application with CIC.
But the question here is - can the application be updated and if not how long will it take for CIC to send my papers back.
Probably you guys have already came up with this sort of idea before and it's not that simple but it's worth asking anyway
Cheers,
Michal
I say you are very much safe because so far the trend shows that NOC 2113 is not a popular category and probably will take lot of time to fill up. But that safety is subject to submission of a complete application to CIC.
This being said, its not a bad idea to call up a few employers in Canada and get some feedback about your chances for a job offer. From what I have read ... Canadian employers are very keen about "Canadian experience" so be prepared to hear that and they need a Labour Market Opinion (LMO) before they can issue you an offer.
Still do give it a try u got nothing to lose here. If no job offer you will atleast have an idea before hand what are the prerequisites for making into the job market there. And if you are lucky and get a job offer you may file a new application under the "Arranged employment" category. Your current application without job offer cannot be changed. But I am positive that if you manage to pull off an offer you may probably get to PR faster.
You will have to wait for atleast 2 months after your application is received at CIO before you hear something from them. I hope and pray that you get a PER.
Best of luck.
