Confused: Some says CEC doesn't require Record of Employment

Record of Employment is a document issued by employer after you leave the company.

I received mine after my CEC application and I'm thinking if I should submit it to CIC when I receive my File Number.
I already included T4, Notice of Assessment and Letter of Reference in my package though. Thought they should be enough to prove my work experience?

Also, my employer made some stupid minor errors in my ROE about my job title and leave date :( That's why I'm hesitating if I should submit it to CIC....

You should ask your employer to submit a revision to your ROE to make those corrections. It is not a big hassle, they can do it online.

But were you still working for this employer at the time you submitted your application? If yes, you shouldn't need to submit your ROE.

Still, you should try to get it corrected. If your employer refuses to correct it, you can contact Service Canada for help.

Thanks.

I left the company and that's why I got the ROE. Should I send a copy of ROE to CIC?

Not necessary, you did not have it at the time of application. They could ask for it, and if they do request more documents, you can submit it then, but I wouldn't worry about it.
