Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum.
I'm from Honduras, currently living in the United States. My parter is sponsoring me.
So, while going over the document checklist I saw the following:
"provide birth certificates, baptismal certificates or other official document confirming relationship for you and your family members"
Then, under the country specific requirements for Honduras it says:
"Official documents issued by this country must be government-certified true copies (copies certified as authentic by the issue government, signed and sealed)"
I have my original baptismal certificate and a government issued and stamped birth certificates (issued 5 years ago)
My questions:
1. Do I have to have my documents translated from Spanish to English? I see no information on this.
2. If (1) is 'yes', how can I have my documents translated if they are supposed to be sealed?!
Thank you.
