Hi,

I have applied for Canadian immigration 5 years ago from India through an agent. Now I am working in London. The recession has badly hit the UK so I am thinking of perusing my options in Canada. The Canadian embassy requested for additional documents, proof of funds, UK PCC etc, which I provided now they have come back to me and asking to pay the RPRF fee and take my medicals. My agent in India is a real dumbo, I don't think he knows what is happening and keeps giving me conflicting information. I don't trust him any more.

My question is since the embassy have asked me to pay the RPRF fee and take my medicals does that mean that my application is approved and I will get my PR once I clear my medicals? or is this just part of the processing procedure.

Anyone with information please help.

Jolt this mean that you have almost completed the processing and if there is noting wrong in the medical and you don't have any criminal background, then you are getting PR very soon.

Hi Guys,

Thank you for your replies.

I am still a little nervous as I read something in one of the letters that the embassy sent me, it reads "Our Providing medical instructions
to you does not guarantee that your application has been approved and that visas will be issued to you and your dependants"

I am having sleepless nights :)
