Angelbrat, just want to point out that in the United States that would be a state law, I did not need any special visa or anything when I got married to my American husband...as the guy at the registry office said, "All you need is photo ID, $70 and a guy to marry"...If I am not mistaken the marriage process is a state issue not a federal issue, so every state has different laws....I was married in Arizona...angelbrat said:Its that quick and easy in BC, I know this, as a friend from the UK married her American partner right here in my house.
