Confused if this is an AOR or not

Hi so i applied for spousal sponsorship for my husband on 14 February 2025 i received a BIL letter first on 13 March 2025 and on 14 March 2025 I the sponsor received this letter from IRCC with a pdf.


Fw: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada - Communication to client/Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada - Communication auprès de la clientèle - CPCM / CTDM - Inland SCLP AOR Letter Application number

in the pdf it does not mention that it is an AOR it just stated that the ircc has the received the application.

I am confused is this AOR or not. Can i apply for spousal open work permit with this?

AOR stands for acknowledgment of receipt, so yeah, that is the AOR

Sorry i didn’t know because like in the pdf it doesn’t mention anything like AOR i saw sample AOR letter online and it nothing looks like it so i was confused. Thank you. I appreciate it.

AOR stands of acknowledge of receipt. And it's exactly what that email/letter said IRCC acknowledge that they received your application.

They NEVER use the word "AOR" in the short form inside the letter (in most cases). An email with your application number and UCI is that AOR.
