Hey Guys, from India here.
I am a Software QA Engineer (specifically a Manual Tester) with a work exp. of mere 2.3 years. I wish to study abroad in Canada. However, what my concern is, to study more into technical field like a Masters in Computer Science or Masters in Global Business Management? Which program will have a better ROI after shelling out huge amounts for any of the above two programs, future perspective, better knowledge about the near future scenarios globally.
Since from India, my aggregate score of Engineering in Information Technology is 64.36% (Grade A if talking in terms of admission purpose), IELTS band score is 7.0. I don't feel like appearing for GRE/GMAT since i'm short on time. I have seen few good colleges with requirements for no GRE/GMAT (e. MGB from Uvic).
MY consultant focused more on Royal Road University which i found through reviews isn't a good one. Moreover, RRU's MGB program is no where standing for its name 'MGB'. Has nothing in the program structure like that of Uvic or of S.P. Jain Global Management School.
My brother says, "Technologies may grow in future which u may or mayn't be aware of at some point, That will be the time when an employer will choose a person updated with those new technical skills over you. However, if you're from a Management background, you can be leading the whole team and direct talks with clients as well." - what do you members think about this.
I'm running out of time is like, my girlfriend sharing the same profile is most probably planning for a PGDM in Digital Marketing from Camosun College just for the sake of avoiding the marriage proposals back here in India. Is Camosun a good one? Should i do the same? Or i have made a right decision for doing Masters right at the age of 25yrs with 2.3 years of work experience.
I'll be highly obliged if anyone takes out time reading this out and shedding some light over this.
Thanks!
