i have one query.. if i get admission in any college without IELTS score, do i need to submit my result as i got only 5.5 bands and 5 in listening when i apply for the visa from india???

depends r u applying under SPP? if yes then yes u have to add IELTS results as its required. U can retake IELTS and improve ur score as for SPP min requirement is 5.5 in each module.

If you are going to apply for study permit visa, I will suggest you one thing please retake your IELTS to improve it. The canadian high commision are very strict with IELTS band.

but as per my knowledge IELTS is not required by CIC. its the college and university which requires IELTS score for the admission purpose, and one more thing i have a letter from my college that i have completed my studies in English medium. still i need to submit IELTS result?????

again ur not giving complete information. ru from india and r u applying under SPP? if yes then SPP checklist requires IELTS to be added.

Even they do not require your marksheets as its college and university which requires them for admission purpose. But they still reject low marks applications??

well if not under SPP then its not required however if u read the checklist they are strongly recommending to add IELTS score. It will be up to u in general category.
if u decide to add IELTS make sure ur individual scores are 5.5 or above anything less is risky. In ur case take IELTS again
