Hello
To be completely honest with you, Ontario PNP stream is a bit tricky, time consuming and expensive. Speaking of your employer, telus is quite a big company and I'm not entirely sure that they will help you out because when an employers applies for a pre screen application, it requires a great deal of information about company's financial condition, existence, payroll, # of employees etc. And I'm confident that your manager or whoever you reporting to, wouldn't be able to get all this information for you. So, you may want to show the actual pre - screen application to your senior manager or supervisor and see if he/she able to get all the information for you. If they do, then you're good to go but chances are very slim. I'm speaking from my experience, lot of employers don't have time to deal with such things. I'm not discouraging you but just telling you what I have seen. There is no harm, you should give a try.
Also, I seen CIC made some changes to CEC but I don't think that is going to effect you any possible way, since you're in a networking field. CIC eliminated titles such as cook, receptionist, bookkeepers, retail service supervisors, office managers etc. New ruling doesn't have any bearing on your field of work. Your best bet would be to get a one year experience by working with telus and after apply for CEC. CEC is much simpler and least expensive. Rest is up to you.
Hope this helps you
