At my job I have the title of merchandise associate at the moment, so technically I'd be under code 6421 that's for retail salespersons and sales clerks. But in all honesty the duties I perform are more like those described in code 6211 for Retail Trade Supervisors. I've trained at least 7 people at my job, keep inventory of the layaway department, handle returns for customers, and I handle customer complaints on my own when I work in layaway. Which should I put as my code, as I think I'm more fitted to be a head cashier (no real title for that in my store) than just a regular cashier.

Unless your HR department will attest that you are a supervisor/manager, you are stuck with the lower NOC.

Ok thanks. I doubt they will so I guess I'll go with the lower one.
