My friend applied for canada study permit online on 3rd july and he got passport request on 2nd August. He submitted his passport to VfS on 3rd August and he got it back on 8th August without stamping and with the rejection letter.. My question here is if they didn't want to give a visa then why they asked for passport submission.. Is this possible that after asking for passport they can reject visa..and the most important thing is both passport request and rejection letter which we got with passport are from same date 2nd August.
