hi everyone.. i'm starting to gather the necessary requirements for our application for spouse visa.

In "Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire question # 9 (development of relationship), we attached the relationship timeline, supported by photos, plane tickets, and other proofs of our relationship.

but my question is, do i still have to provide a separate "proof of relationship" because it is on the checklist or my relationship timeline in IMM 5490 enough already?

You can also include things like phone bills, letters, Skype convos and Facebook messages and posts. Always better to include to show how strong your relationship is

We even included receipts to places we had been with the picture attached and emails between the two of us

Thanks Wyz and moidyn :)

I included photos and flight itinerary as supporting documents for the timeline. but i inserted the timeline in Question # 9.

what i will do is
1. add some more photos from the time we started the relationship until the last time we were together.
2. Chat history from fb, skype call logs.
3. othe documents like letter from my inlaws who attended the wedding here in the Philippines, the pre marriage counseling. unfortunately i throw away all the receipts from our wedding suppliers so i cant use that anymore.

Do you have any suggestion on what else to put there as "proof of relationship"?

we chose to submit 700 pics, 500 pages of emails, 400 pages of yahoo chats, copies of airline tickets, movie tickets, dinner receipts etc etc etc
we also typed up a short + long version of "our story"

Some submitted every piece of evidence (like us), others say that is way too much and then there is also every suggestion in between. it is up to you to decide what is best for you.
here is a thread with some other ideas and discussions......

You should know though, there is still such thing as too much proof (with relation to pictures especially). Look in your region specific form. Mine specified 15 pictures and of exactly what events they needed. So be sure to thoroughly read your forms and follow the instructions exactly.
I would send selective FB messages and skype and phone bills...to show that you have been in contact throughout this time and talking to each other and communicating without going too overboard. I think VOs will be grateful that you keep it to the point. (I sent 15 pics of wedding and various occasions of my spouse and me together (as asked in my region specific form), and then meaningful convos, phone bills and letters, that show the progress with time, which were about 16-20 pages worth I think).

Sent my documents to my husband. My cousin will hand carry it to Canada. :)
