Hello Seniors,
I just did my landing (in province landing) earlier at a CIC office. The process literally took a mere 5 minutes and the agent told me it takes about 2-3 months to receive the PR card. Now the agent did not tell me that I had to apply for a PR card or anything along those lines.
However I see that there is a link in cic.gc.ca to apply for the initial PR card.

I'm a little confused now. Do I need to apply for a PR card or will it be taken care of by the CIC office where I just completed my landing.
