Yes sent it the same week, but no response, not sure if we are supposed to hear something back from them regarding it or not, its confusing.

It can happen. They say no news is good news (sometimes!). You could order your GCMS notes to make sure that they got it and it was acceptable.

It's not expected to hear anything from them after that, you should order GCMS notes to see the status of your app

CIC won't acknowledge they received the requested items, so it's best not to expect anything. They will only contact you if more information is needed or if the application has been approved.

Do you have an idea how they'll contact after the application is approved ? by phone or mail ?

if the applicant requires a visa, usually they receive an email with instructions about sending the passport to the visa office for processing. if they don't require a visa, they will receive their approval paper in regular mail, with no other notification. There are some visa offices that do call applicants, though that is not very common. to know if your visa office calls applicants, then you'll want to check the thread specific to your visa office.

Im asking because i gave them two phone numbers, but i changed one of them, so its good to know that they email first, thanks for your answer.
