Confused about medical exam..

Hello everyone,

So I had my medical exam done about a week ago. I am confused because in a previous thread someone said I need to send e-medical sheet through CSE..? But the doctor who performed the examination said they will send the results directly to CIC. So I guess my question is, do I need to do anything with the e-medical information sheet (including my picture, barcode, UMI) or is it just for my own records?

There are no clear instructions on if I have to scan and send it somewhere or not.

Yes, you need to send that sheet to the CIC. That's how they find your results. Have you already submitted your application? If so, just send it via CSE.

Yes I sent my application off back in July 2015 and I am just sending my e-medical off now as an upfront medical since they didn't ask for it yet. So sorry to sound like a dumb dumb, but what is this CSE, it doesn't sound familiar I'm pretty sure I've never used it before. Link and/or additional info would be super helpful. I just don't know how to do it ???

This is a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE). You just fill out the fields, attach a scanned copy of the upfront medical document, and explain that you've done your medical and would like it added to your application: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
