Hi. My father total income in ITRs is 3.3 lac. I m really worried now about visa acceptance... Should i also mention about my mother's income in the form or not !

Dear Friend,

In your situation I would suggest proving both your parents ITR. Secondly I hope you have an approved Student loan, it will take a lot of pressure of the ITR and improve your chances to get the Visas

You should mention your mother's income also if applicable.
3.3 lac is very less to support your education and stay in canada.
You are apling in general or spp??

ITR's/Form 16 of Parents are not required. Only applicants (India) have option to submit their own ITR's (except SPP).

No but there is a space to write how much money available you have for your studies... You should add loan money to everything else you have got.. Plus attach any document form institution providing the loan

same issue i am facing with parents ITR....

but i have additional money for backup in my account and also in form of Stocks, shares, public saving account etc...

Is there any provision to show the above??
Experts please guide me

Document: Proof of Means of Financial Support
If you are visiting Canada, you must prove that you can support yourself and the family members accompanying you while you are in Canada by providing as many of the following documents:
• your bank statements for the past four months
• a bank draft in convertible currency
• pay stubs
• an employment letter
• proof of assets or business
• proof of payment of tuition and accommodation fees
• tax reports, declarations or statements
• proof of a student/education loan from a financial institution
• a letter from the person or institution providing you with money
• proof of funding paid from within Canada, if you have a scholarship or are in a Canadian-funded educational

i don't know why people attach additional documents when they are applying under SPP category.
Spp category is made to decrease the paper work and to make it easy for VO to evaluate your profile. So why you guys complicate your profile by your extra and useless efforts. Do not attach ITR's if applying under spp, if you attach it and if VO finds that income is not sufficient it can be a reason of your refusal.
Just mention everything in Family info form.
BUt do not attach any extra document.
Just your FEE reciept and GIC certificate that's it, its clearly mentioned on CIC website. Please do follow their rules.
IF you agent advised you to attach ITR under spp, then you are in a wrong hands...
PREPARE YOUR FILE WITH EFFECTIVE AVAILABLE INFORMATION, DO NOT RELY ON YOUR AGENTS COMPLETELY.

Yes you should mention your mother's income if any. If she is housewife then i suggest you to file ITR by showing boutique or tuition. You can file ITR of near about 2.50 lakh by this way. This will sum up your household income to around 5.5 lakh which is sufficient. My friend did this way and got visa for fall 2015 under SPP category.

good luck

You need not to attach ITR's under spp category.
Following docs are required if you're applying under spp.
1. Educational Qualifications(matriculation onwards)
2. Relevant Work experience(if any)
3. GIC certificate
4. First semester/year tuition fee
5. Medical tracking sheet
6. Offer letter copy
7. Passport copy
8. SOP(if have study gap or course change)
9. IELTS result copy
10. Family information sheet(mention family members name and income)

Thats all .. No extra documents ..

And also Family income should be more or less equal to around 5.0 lacs to mae your case strong.
I also had same issue like yours. But i will be happy to help. Inbox me.
