I am going to send the full set of application to Buffalo. So for myself and my spouse it is 2 X $490 = CAD $980.

I am planning to pay by Credit Card. The IMM 5620 has $550 hard coded and does not have provision to enter $490. How did you do it? I should have spent around 2 hours searching (blind me) .. is there a different form available.

1. Because the application fee for adults is $550x2 The Right of Permanent resident fee is $490 and you can't pay that on line, and you don't usually pay it until your application is approved.

PMM, Thanks dude. Now I am more confused.

Buffalo needs the RPRF to be paid when I send the complete set of documents. point 13 Fee Payment.

Is this correct or do I send the complete documents and they will request for the $490X2 DD/Cashier Cheque later once the full set of documents are approved?

Its written in the EG7 Instruction guide: "2. The Right of Permanent Residence Fee, which will be requested by the Visa Office at a later stage if your application is approved."

Candiur -

First - Did you send the initial application to CIO and pay the application fees to CIO (NOT Buffalo)? That is what Item 13 in the Visa-office specific guide (Buffalo) is referring to.

If not, then you need to STOP and re-read all the directions. You will not have received a recommendation to send the full application to Buffalo if you did not.

If yes, then... Buffalo knows that you already paid the application fee. You do not pay the right of permanent residence fee until after your application is approved.

Thanks PMM, mobyshaikh and Jes_on. Your valuable suggestion helped me decide.

I will send the CIO fee receipt and then later on send the Permanent fee when they ask for it.

Hi Candiur,

I don't have the CIO fee receipt, from where have you got?

I am also planing to send my final application to Buffalo in 2 weeks time.

Max :-X
