Why would one need GCMS notes if he/she got PR already?

GCMS stands for Global Case Management System. Is is the computer generated record of your file. It usually helps applicants ascertain at which stage their file is and since it carries the agent notes, applicants can figure out any potential concerns with their application.

I wonder why someone would apply for GCMS notes after they receive the PR. Not sure where you got that info from.

It's just a freedom of information thing. You're entitled to know what info they have on you & some people want to know. There's no restriction on when you ask for it.
