I'm from the caribbean and have written the CXC and CAPE exams. I also attended university for software engineering for 2 years in the US, before going to culinary school for one year also in the US . I never graduated from university so I do not have a bachelor's degree, however, I graduated from culinary school with a culinary arts diploma.
I sent my secondary and culinary school transcripts to WES for an education assessment. However I just got off the phone with WES customer service and they said that they do not do trade assessments, so they will ignore my culinary arts diploma.
My questions are:
1)when I'm filling out my express entry profile, do I say that I have one year at a trade school, since I have a diploma, or do I say that I only have secondary school education, since WES is ignoring my culinary arts diploma?
2)Are there other education assessment bodies that will consider my culinary arts diploma?
