Hello Everybody,

I filed an inland PR application back in 2010 reaching the final stage of awaiting the CoPR.

This is the answer I received from Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa a few days ago in response to my inquiry regarding the CoPR:

Your confirmation of permanent residence was sent to you on 2013-03-20.

Got nothing in my mailbox as of yesterday, which looks like a worrying sign to me (living in Vaughan, Ontario, not too far away from Ottawa where the letter should arrive from).

Has anybody faced the same issue? Is it normal?

Sometimes this happens. You should be getting it soon. As of late, last week there were a few holidays so. You should wait a few days for sure, a week i would say and then contact them again.

Thanks for your reply, RockinCanada! Nothing received yet. Send them an additional email on Tuesday.

That's what I did. They confirmed the letter was sent to my current address. Got a call from a guy who bought my condo a year ago last Sunday, it appears they sent it to my old address I updated a year ago. It was very nice of him to pick it up from the post office and give me a shout. Landed the very same day.

It looks like some guys over there are overwhelmed and messed up. Make sure they have your up-to-date address.

Thanks for all the responses!
