Hi members , I'm from visa exempt country , and two weeks ago I landed in Alberta . I came with one way ticket and ,of course, I was suspicious . Officer have cut my stay and wrote some conditions in my passport - 'prohibited from engaging in employment in Canada.....' Meanwhile, I've obtained a LMO and a job offer . Can I still go to the airport and apply for a work permit ? Will it affect my application in any way ?

Pretty certain that you can't do it at the airport, unless you are on an incoming flight. I think you might have to "flagpole".

Agreed. Impossible at the airport unless you are arriving on a flight from an international destination.

Do I have a possibility to change my status from a visitor to a worker ?
Isn't that what you are doing when you get a work permit? The problem is that you have to cross the border to trigger that change. It *may* be possible to do it inside Canada by appointment, but if it is, I have no idea how.
