Conditional PR

Hello everyone,

I have some questions regarding my situation, I came here to Canada February 28th 2014 sponsored from my spouse under a conditional PR status. Our relationship did break up on Jan 2016 a month before the 2 years stated on the conditional PR, we filed our divorce on march 2017. I have been living in Canada a year and few months after the automatic elimination of the conditional PR status (two years), and her sponsorship it's over too. Couple of weeks ago I lost my PR card and I want now to apply for a new one, should I be concerned and call a lawyer? also the conditional PR it will be repealed this spring, would that apply to all cases? My ex and I are in great terms and our marriage was genuine, too bad had to end and also it ended one month before or even few weeks before the the 2 years. I would really appreciate an answer. You don't need to worry. As long as no investigation was launched, the conditional PR status is automatically removed from your PR status after the 2 years is up. It will never be an issue again for any future apps.

hi i m SJ golfer , i bcame PR in December 2016 , it was conditional PR , after living one month i came back to my country of residence in 25 january we have one daughter and our 2nd daughter already born this year in May , when i came back my wife was pregnent , since i came back my wife receive my PR Card and you know in April Conditional PR is no more , but now my wife is not sending me my PR card so then i can return back to Canada , its been 10 month she let me talk with my Both Daughters but she has refuse to send my PR CARD , in july i receive Email from CIC that conditional has already eliminate , and i dont have to do any thing its just for my information , now i dont have my PR card , i dont know how to do ,i miss my kids and also miss my wife but she totally refuse to send me PR CARD , very stress , dont know what to do , can any one advise me ,
i also worry that if i apply for PRTD(permanant residence Travel documents ) CIC will refuse my application as when i came back to my conuntry of residenc at that time i was conditional PR

any advise will be very helpfull

Apply for a PR Travel Document so that you can return to Canada:

Once you have returned to Canada, apply for a replacement PR card:

Thanks for your reply , i have my PR Visa in My Passport , SIN documents issue by Service canada , and my bank account , and i took photo of my COPR when it was issue , the original COPR i left in canada when i was coming back , but luckely i took a photo and today i print and prepare along with my application , I JUST Worry bcos in Application form there is colum and it said did there any Condition when you became PR , and i tick yes
Condition 51 , actually it was my mistake i over reacted and return back to my country of residence , for last seven or eight month i todl my wife to come to me along with kids and we will return togather but she said no , and now i am missing them allot , but i dont know what should i write for my PR card bcos i never received .

You can only use your PR visa once. Also, CIC will not send a PR card outside of Canada.

Again - follow the steps I have outlined above. Start by applying for a PR Travel Document so that you can return to Canada. Once you have returned to Canada, apply for a replacement PR card.

The only other option would be to obtain a US visitor visa, fly to the US and then re-enter Canada through a land border using a private vehicle. Once in Canada, you can then apply for the replacement PR card.

Thanks for your Advise , i dont have US Visa , so i think its batter to apply for PRTD , ( The Documents i have is PR VISA in My Passport , already used when i landed , my SIN , And my bank in canada , COPR i have PHOTO so i will print that Photo , and some of the Photo with my family and video call screen shot i do with my daughters ,you think it will be enough to apply , i dont have US visa so i think i should apply for PRTD will good for me ,but allot of stress and negitive thoughts are coming , i was waiting that our relation will get batter and every thing will be good but her behaiviour is remain same , but i love my family , i call her every single day since i came back , buy gift for her but she remain same but its good that when she has good mood she let me talk with our daughters.

i just worry maybe my wife complain to CIC bcos when i was returning back to my country of resident she told me not to go back
but i told her i have go to patch up work and collect the money from customer then i can ba back , but then we have argument and
i return back , in end of Jun when u saw my Application status it said COMPLETE , but in 1st week of July 2017 when six month complete
for me to bacame PR , i cannot my case Status on ECASE (CIC website ) i can understand bcos PR status show on ECASE 6 month one you bcame PR .so i count the time it was exactly after 180 days , and i also ask my wife , does she did some thing bcos i was worry that she complain to CIC , but she told me she Didnt do any thing .and i also didnt receive any letter or any thing from CIC , they Just send Email infirmation regarding
Elimination of Conditional PR , Thats it , today i already start preparing for my PRTD Application , i wish i get this Travel documents so then i can return back to Canada , my wife also told me if i want to come i should come back by my self . crazzy isn it ?

any opinion , will be help full , i am also attach my daughters Photo , new born baby daughter photo in my application but i dont have my birth certificate , i worry if CIC ask me to submit her birth certificate then what will i do , my wife will not give me her birth certifictae .
