Conditional PR

I am currently living in Canada with my husband. I'm mailing out my PPR request items in two days and hopefully landing to get my PR soon. My husband and I have been married for 1 year and he is being faced with a job offer from the Canadian Forces which would have him living far away from me for 8+ months if he accepts, or best case scenario I would be in an apartment in the surrounding cities and he visits on some weekends while living on base. My question is would I have Conditional PR status once I land, and would the Army's living situation affect it? Another question is would it be possible to alter the address my PR card goes to if we have to immediately move?

The army service does not influence your condition or PR in any way, It doesn't effect you even if you're living in a foreign land together and it definitely does not matter if you're both in Canada as long as you remain married for a period of 2 years which is the prime condition of your PR, If you get divorced within 2 years of getting married then yes it alters everything.

Yes, you will most likely have conditional PR. Exceptions to normal IRCC rules are granted for those serving in the Canadian Forces.

Address changes can sometimes take awhile to be processed, so I wouldn't advise changing it after landing. If you are unsure if the address will stay the same, give a friend or family member's address that isn't going to change.
