my husband is the PA and we have just received the PPR... yet to land.
we are having problems in our marriage and so both of us want to land in canada and get the PR card.

after receiving the card he wants to head back to india and me stay on in canada. he would probably be in canada for a week and not more.
since we have gotten married in india he wants to come back and file for divorce here.

if i continue to stay in canada can my PR card be revoked since he would probably be in canada for not more than 1 week
i will continue to stay look for a job and try and start a new life ....

i want to understand who the Conditional Permanent Residence applies too since we applied as a married couple but had only completed 1.5 years of marriage at that time and we dont have any children

Conditional Permanent Residence (Condition 51) only applies to Family Class applications under spousal sponsorship.
However, if your relationship is on the verge of divorce, it's questionable just how close to misrepresentation you are going to be, if you continue to pursue the application as a married couple. Caveat Emptor...

thanks !
in india the process of divorce takes minimum of 6 months and can go upto a couple of years ...
also my husband has agreed to come back and wait for a couple of months before filing any papers so as to not make things difficult for either of us ...guess living in the hope that we can reconcile .. this is just the worst case scenario
