Quebec is hell. I am writing from montreal and i have been here for last 6 months. No english here. Only french . English speakers are like illitrate in quebec
yes true ....if u were planning to stay in quebec french is a problem..but I came here for studies and I do have a parttime job too even though i dont speak french. I dont expect to find a skilled job in montreal ....my education will get me job anywhere . So my point is u came here for education why would french matter to u? can u specify problems u r facing /students r facing..... i am in montreal and never faced any problems. Again if u dont know french u shouldnt expect to settle in quebec better to avoid quebec...aman6699 said:But guys concordia is very good university . Totally english . But when you go out of university , u will face problems with language. 80 % people will speak only french. In downtown you will find people who speak english but if you go outside anywhere in quebec totally french. Those guys will just speak french

jobs in montreal/quebec r difficult if u dont speak french u will most likely have to move to another province. being said that there r few people here who have got jobs in montreal itself. once u come here make friends or u can get help from university accommodation group......kijiji or craigslist search can help tooAkashdeepS said:Hey, I too got admit for Master of applied computer science in Concordia University for January intake. I have already applied for CAQ and I am soon going to pay for my first term fee and GIC. I know that Concordia University is one of the best university in world , but I heard that searching job for English speakers in Quebec will hard. Can anyone tell me that after completing my Master in computer can I get a good job in my domain.
I am going to pay a major portion of my living expenses by myself but still i want to know that does finding part time job for English speaker is easy or hard.
And can someone please suggest me how can I find some accommodation in Montreal near my University.
