Concerning education marks

I have two questions concerning the education selection factor for the skilled worker class:

1) I have studied and finished 12 years of full time education at schools (2 schools), then 5 years of full time University education to obtain a BSc in Civil Engineering, then two years education for High Diploma in Computer Information Systems (CIS), then one year for a MSc in CIS. The highest completed degree is an MSc. How much do I score in the education selection factor?

2) Do I have to obtain and submit a certificate for every year I was at school to prove all those studied years at schools?! In other words: What supported documents that I need to submit to prove my 12 years full time education at schools?

Thanks...

When you say you studied "12 years of full time education," does that mean you graduated from high school during that time? Or did you graduate later?

Also, what is a "High Diploma" in CIS?

1. At least 20.

2. You should provide all diplomas & certificates, including high school. You should provide transcripts for all schools after high school. And you should provide literature from each school after high school that explains the requirements for the diplomas & certificates you received. Those documents will contain everything they need to assess your education points.

When I said that I studied 12 years of full time education in schools, it means that I studied at schools from the age of 6 years to the age of 18 years, then of course, I graduated from the school (in the age of 18). Then, to enter a University after school study in my country, I had to attend a governmental examination to get a certain certificate that is called: "The general secondary education certificate". Ofcourse I attended that examination and got 92.6%, a mark that enabled me to enter the civil engineering faculty of the University, where I studied 5 years and got a BSc degree in civil engineering.

The "High Diploma" degree is an academic degree that is between the BSc level and the MSc level. In some cases, you can't directly go for a MSc degree from a BSc degree and you have first to obtain a "high diploma" degree. For example, if there is a big difference between the two majors, or if your GPA in the BSc is relatively low, then you should first obtain a high diploma degree in a topic before you proceed for a MSc degree for the same topic.

Do you mean that I have to find all my certificates that schools gave me from the age of 6 years till the age of 18 years?! I think this will be difficult for a lot of people because few of us believe that a day will come in the future and we will have to care about those very old certificates! I mean ... immigration was the last thing in my head that I should care of when I was 6 years old !! :)

I really don't think you have to get your certificates for schools you attended before college. The checklist asks for certificates from post-secondary, college and university studies. Do elementary schools and such even give out diplomas?

You'll need your high school diploma, or "General Secondary Education Certificate."

I didn't say, and didn't mean, that you'd need anything earlier than your secondary education certificate.

It sounds you'll get the full 25 points for education.
