Concerned regarding Masters of Arts evaluation by WES

Hello,

Just wondering is anyone has got any similar experience or knowledge of how WES evaluates Masters of Arts.

I have a Bachelor of Arts ( 3 years ) and for that I got a 4 year Bachelor equivalency
And for Masters of Arts ( English, 2 years) I have got one year postgraduate diploma.

I am just a bit concerned as to why they didn't consider my masters as masters.
Does any one know why?

We I got similar evaluation for my B.Com (3 yrs) and my M.Com (2 yrs) qualifications.

I believe this is the evaluation because usually masters degree in most of the countries is completed after a graduate programme of 4 yrs. Usually in India we have a 3-year programme.

But even with post-graduate diploma for 1 year, you get a score of 128 in CRS, which hopefully would be good enough for you to get an ITA.

I have got my 3 year Bachelor of Science degree evaluated as 4 years Bachelors degree and my 3 year Master of Computer Applications degree evaluated as Master's degree.

I checked it, MA, MSc, MCom is evaluated as Bachelors Degree + one year diploma.

MBA, MCA is evaluated as Masters Degree.

But the tool doesn't has Post Graduate Diploma listed. Any ideas?

Can't say. Maybe someone with more knowledge on this could help.

What I can think is that a post graduate diploma should count as a one year or more diploma. A diploma is a diploma. : :

But all said and done.. you should be able to get 128 points for

Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years

Guys do you need to send Bachelor documents if upgrading to Master of Arts? or only masters documents are enough?
