So if you haven't done an English language test yet then you cannot set up an EE profile. You need to take the test and wait for the result to be available before you can submit an EE profile.

I'll be very honest. This is EE basics. You need to take all of this a great deal more seriously if you really want PR. You are very short on time and lack the points. You should be prepared to leave Canada in Nov if things don't go your way. There is a good chance they won't.
Yes I am aware that you need an english language test. I was literally practicing for the CELPIP
Why do you say I'm not taking it seriously? I've been practicting to do the test

You are asking extremely basic questions on this forum that indicate you haven't taken the time to research basic program requirements.

You have left it to the last minute to determine how you will qualify and apply.

These are indications of not taking things seriously and/or assuming PR will just magically drop into your lap.

Ok let me go through my history:

1. I've been planning for PR last year. I've needed one year of job experience which ended November 2024 to qualify. My plan was to submit my EE early in the month. I was doing research but my biggest hurdle was that
2. As I said I needed a year of experience which I only got last year. When should I have applied then?

You should have submitted your EE profile as soon as you had 1 year of work experience which means you should have written an English language test last summer. You also should have fully researched the program requirements and draw cut offs by last summer to understand how high your score was and if this meant ITA was likely. You then would have known way back then that you didn't have sufficient points and could have started pursuing the French language test then or looking at other options, such as trying to find an employer who will support an LMIA.

Anyway, it's your life. You do what you want.

I've been job searching since last year
but now my plan is to pursue french language test. I calculated and score would be above 530 is test is passed
Again I didn't have one year of experience until November of 2024.

Since you are from a Francophone family then CLB 7 in all areas should not be difficult. Good luck.

My problem is
my family is fluent but I'm not. Its rusty

I was planning on perhaps 2hrs a day for 5-6 months to reach 7 if possible
So tell them to only speak to you in French. Only read and watch TV in French. If 2 hours a days is enough for you to reach CLB7 then great. No one can tell you how long it will take.

Hello will do so. Its more a refresher course.
However had a question. My PGWP expires in November.
so was wondering if I applied for EE in October and got ITA and applied for my BOWP but heard it takes 3-4 months and my PGWP expires by then, can I still work? I read this:

"If their current work permit expires before they have received a decision regarding their BOWP application, they may continue to work in Canada under maintained status until a final decision has been issued regarding the BOWP application. "

So would that give me more time to improve my french or is that too risky? It'd give me 9 months rather than 5-6

how can you sure you will get ITA in October this ircc immigration system is unpredictable I highly recommend plan 2-3 months ahead everything and keep an eye on any change they made in the process.
