HI

I'm very new to this forum, i had gone through many articles.
want to apply for Canada Immigration under NOC 0213.

details about me:
1. I worked in Canada for some time on business visa through Indian company. ( around 2years) on and off, like coming back to india and going back again

2. after that i got the work permit for 2 years and but i worked only for 6 months.

3. Now I reside in USA and want to apply for CANADA Immigration

4. Working as Project Manager in Software company

5. Total 12years in same company.

Here in USA, I en·quired with some Agencies, where they can service for Canada Immigration, they say I'm not elligible, because of software industry.

Please suggest me...

Yea I am on same page, is there any company who can offer a job in canada with clause that is eligible when we are offered PR would be great.

But when I happen to speak to globalvisas they said they can apply when you are a manager more experience.

You are not currently eligible to apply under Federal Skilled Worker, Category 1 with that work experience, because there are 29 occupations which are currently eligible and the 0213 is currently not one of them.

However, in July this year it is highly anticipated that the list will be amended.

If you want to apply as a Federal Skilled Worker you have 2 choices
1) Wait until July and see if any of the occupations on the new list match your work experience
2) Secure a job offer, and apply under Federal Skilled Worker, Category 2.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

This is what global visas told us that, i am eligible to apply from July 2012. enter their website and enter the assessment test and they will contact you.

Wayne.

Thanks for the reply.

2) Secure a job offer, and apply under Federal Skilled Worker, Category 2.

If I get the Job offer and apply Category 2.
1. will it be just as workpermit visa or Immigrating to Canada.?

jaiishankar

I just spoke to them, they said the samething. but for me they didnot mention about 2012..

Q: If we travel to Canada on WORKVISA, can i apply for Immigration being in canada?

Can i apply after landing there, is there any time period I should stay and apply?

I would highly recommend option 2.

You can try and see if you can fit in NOC1122 as you may need to modify your profile accordingly. Just a thought, give a try.

The only good thing is that US's economy is recovering at a steady rate but it would be interesting to see if this rise is sustained. Good recovery in US economy means good biz performance by Canadian companies.
Money comes first , then IT.Canada has created a huge backlog of potential applicants who have been watching like Hawks towards MI-4. You know what I mean.
