it's totally up to you whether you want to apply earlier v.s. later. If you are rejected, you can reapply again but you need to gather all your documents and pay the application fee again.
this is just my opinion, your work experiences from 8/2012 - 3/2013 seems quite complicated to explain to the Visa Officers. If you want the Visa Officers to understand your situation 100%, you need to provide very good experience letter that clearly states that your duty and everything. to be honest, I'm American and very well educated and I'm a bit confused by your work experiences from 8/2012 - 3/2013. if it confuses me, i'm sure the Visa Officers will have to read through everything you've submitted very carefully to understand your case. from what I've read on here, the Visa Officers are not very patient, sympathetic, or forgiving towards applicants.
i would make everything as simple as it could be for the Visa Officers to avoid any chance of rejection. if you are rejected, you need to apply it again from the start and wait longer! than you need to worry about your working visa and extending it...etc
If you do get hired as shipping coordinator after 3/31/2013 and work until April of 2014, it should be very clear for the Visa Officers regarding your work experience and it should leave no doubt.
