We just thought of a dumb question - is it okay to type all our responses for the application/sponsor forms using Adobe Acrobat? Or do we have to write it in black ink by hand?

The forms are fillable in Adobe Reader, so they have been made to fill out and print. Either is ok as long as they are readable, but I would go for typed, if possible, as it just looks nicer. That is what I did.

Both hand wirting and typing are ok. I did hand writing and my husband typed.
If they can read, that's ok, but maybe typing is easier to rewrite and for better looks.

The safest way is to type it. Never know if they will understand your hand writing... :)

Good luck.

Thanks guys! We typed everything out already but I read somewhere that you have to fill it out with black ink so I just want to be safe. It think typing is easier too in case we need to go back and change a response it's easier to change it on the computer.

I think they mean if you write it to write in black ink (if printed it will be black anyway), black is preferable to other colours as it photocopies best.

I typed mine out and then added some extra details in hand-writing (so I did both). Must have been okay, cuz we got approved!
