masters in communication studies: 71.2% (Gold medalist)
IELTS: 7.5
4 years work in advertising, corporate communication and marketing communications
Funds: Bank loan of Rs.15 lakhs against property + already paid one year tuition fees
Got admission for GBM at Humber
Done with medicals
Husband also applying for OWP with me

His profile:

Bachelors in civil engineering (rank holder)
Masters in civil enginnering from the US (no backlogs)
3 years work ex in India in civil engineering
Funds: Rs. 10 lakhs +affidavit from parents showing 3 properties and Rs. 21 lakh worth FDs..

Want to know the chances of getting a visa.. good? Aplying thru general and already done with medicals.

Your profile seems really good ! Attach a covering letter stating the reasons why you want to study GBM at Humber. Do a brief research on the course and college. Put everything in a nut shell.

thanks a ton! got a mail from humber! got scholarship worth 5000 dollars so am guessing that should suffice!

Lucky main! Well you should actually look at applying by Nov 10th or so... so get your documents right.. plus if your applying under SPP, then GIC and all to be done. Also the only area where u might get hit is the fact tht you have a 5.5 score.. and under SPP nothing should be less than 6.5 if i am not mistaken (correct me if I am wrong)..

PS: Make sure you show strong home-ties and sufficient funds.
