COmpany name change after getting an ITA

Hi All,

Thanks everyone for being responsive and helping in all stages..

I have one question to ask here before submitting my application.

My company merged with another company and the name of the company is changing now. But in the profile, I have mentioned the old company name and now I have an ITA as well.. I have asked my HR to provide a letter stating that, but my HR said they cant do that..

I have my information on old letter head, ( but the legal name of the company remains same, but still that is not the company name )..

I have had this conversation with my HR, I am thinking to attach the email conversation as well while submitting.. Please advise..

Attach what you feel is necessary, is there an email stating that the change was happening/announced? A press release?

Oh yes, that's all over the news.. Its a US based multi national company .. Very big company..

Yes, I can get tons of that.. Because almost everyday its on news.. Its a pretty big company..
