Company denied reference letter . Any options?

Hello. So my company denied me a detailed refrence letter. What they hand over to me is just a page stating I am a employ from this date to present . Says my salary and other stuff abouut my employent. What it's doesn't have are my job duties and responsibilities . What are my option now ? Can I have my current senior Co worker write my job responsibilities or I should have my coworker write the full refrence letter ? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I just recieved my gcms notes and I saw the agent comment that my older letter is not enough so get the points . So I asked my company for a detailed letter and they denied . Any help or suggestiions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

A letter for your senior co worker should work, Also explain IRCC why you were not able to produce a detailed ref letter as your company denied it.

On what grounds were they denied?
This doesn't make any sense at all.
Does the company know that this document is of paramount importance to you?

I'd push for the company to come up with the detailed reference letter.
If they don't, why don't you come up with a draft and let them just sign it ?

Many companies frankly don't care to do things or favors like this for individual employees if it doesn't benefit the entire company.

Anyway, what nmeka said will be accepted by IRCC as this happens often.

It would cost them more to do another process of hiring an individual than writing a damn page reference letter.

I'd quit working as soon as I learn that they are not willing to do simple things like this.

That's what I did as my company's HR department wouldn't add the tasks to the employment letter. I also explained it in a letter that I added to my EE file. I got PPR on the 16th so I guess it worked

Thank you! You have no idea how much of a relief it is to hear this. My HR department will issue me a letter stating my position, start date and salary, but refuses to list job tasks since "they fluctuate." However, I have a complete job description from the HR website that lists out what the position entails. Glad to know it should suffice!

yea that just make no sense why they would deny it .it just a matter of writing few words and noting else . I m not asking them to write some lie on it so I, kinda pisses that the company that I worked for that many years would do like to me . I work for a American based company in Canada and it's a big corporate . Thy don't care about any of their employee and have a very bad reputation in dealing with their employees . I just got stuck in the loophole and fake promises that they will provide me with Lmia and now all this bs . I'm gonna get my residency and get the fuuuuckk out .

they trained me and since I am a skilled class they have to spend more time in training other people or new hire. I'm very upset about what happen to me

i am still Waiting on my RCMP report and in the comments the agent mention that he is unable to justify my work experience for the year 2015 so I asked for the latest and updated version of reference letter and they denied it

i am going to do that way. it sucks that after spending that much of time and effort i am left with a piece of paper that even dont have the requirements on it that i needed. thank you

I heard from an info session that you can draft an affidavit in case the employer refuses to provide you the the detailed reference letter. This, of course, needs to be backed with a lot of supporting documents.

Performance appraisal forms, or work contracts usually outline the roles and responsibilities you do for work.
