Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum, have read a lot and I have to say it is really amazing how people help each other, awesome job!
It seems the people here help each other in a very good way where the CIC call center fails.
I'm sure if they would help better, there would be much less confused and angry people, like me.
I am sorry if I ask something what was already asked before, but I would be really grateful for some advice.
I am from Germany and I'm living with my canadian partner in Canada and we want to apply for the common-law sponsorship.
My work permit is valid till Jan.2011, and I hope I can get another work permit.
I read a lot about Inland/Outland applications, and I understand that we can apply outland and inland when I'm living here.
We would like to go with the outland process, as I read here that it is faster and the better way to go.
But which application form are we using? The one to be sent to Mississauga (which would be the outland) the guide says on the front "living outside Canada", can I still use it even if I'm living here, or which one do I have to use?
The other thing I read is about the outland application, that I would need an address in Germany, is that true?
I mean I live here so I don't have on there.
As for the fingerprints, can I get the to sets they need at the same place here in Canada. ( I never had my fingerprints taken in Germany)
Thanks so so much
