Common-law visitor visa , support letter from friends

My girlfriend will be applying for visitor visa and mention the martial status as 'common-law', along with pictures and lease agreement

1)I am planning to provide letters from friends, should those letters be notarized ?
2)Will those letters be notorized by my friends or will i have to get them notorized once i receive them.?

1. Why are you planning to get letters from your friends? Are they supporting your application or just writing letters saying that they know you?

Your friends have to get them notarized and you have to be present before the notary with your identification documents to prove that your friends are writing a letter to you.
