Hey,
Need some advice.
My girlfriend (not at the time) had moved into a house on 1st Nov 2012 where I was already living (with other room mates) in London. We started dating on 11 November 2012 and lived in that house until end of April 2013 (we had separate leases). I moved to a new apartment in May 2013. She moved into this apartment in August 2013 (the lease remained under my name). I moved out of the apartment in January 2013 and moved to Toronto for a new job. She continued to stay in that apartment until April 2014 and moved to a different apartment until August 2014. We continued seeing each other while I was in Toronto. She moved to Italy in September 2014 and finally moved back with me in October 2015. We continued long distance relationship during this time. Since October 2015, we have been living together at the same address in Toronto.
I got my PR in November 2015 as Skilled Worker (entered as Single) and now sponsoring her application for PR under common law Canada class. Just wondering if CIC could claim that we were common law when I landed as PR. Until November 2015 (when I got my PR), we technically only lived at the same address between November 2012 to April 2013 and then between August 2013 to December 2013.
Need some advice.
