Hi i am currently on a work visa in Canada. And am in the process of my common law canadian partner sponsoring me. If tge PR card is not finished by the time my work visa expires in November 2018.
what are my options can i stay as a visitor and not work until PR CARD is finished

What kind of work visa do you currently hold?
Did you apply for PR outland?
Or inland along with Open Work Permit app?

I am on open work visa. And applied from company in sydney whike living here in canada. Have a canada address been here 5 years this year

What kind of work visa do you currently hold? i.e. IEC working holiday visa? PGWP? etc

Im on IEC WORK VISA.
I applied outland i guess as i am doing application through Sydney Australia.
I have been given a onpune login. I gave sent all forms by mail and by internet login.
I just really want to know how can i stay in canada in November when visa expires and my PR card is still being processed

In that case, you need to apply to extend your status as a visitor in Canada, before your IEC expires. While the request for visitor extension is in progress (it can take a few months) you'll have implied status to stay in Canada.

You must of course stop working after your IEC expires, and can only start working again after your app is approved and you've landed as a PR.

So can i apply for visitor visa while im still living in Canada. And also do i have to leave the country and re enter at an airport to have visitors visa applied. As when i reapplied for my work visa the first time i was told i could just cross a land border which i did into Montana and told this was not allowed to be done. So second time i extended work visa i flew home back to Australia and then flew back into Vancouver airport to go through immigration that way.

No, you are not applying for a visa, you are applying to extend your visitor status in Canada. This is done entirely while you are in Canada.

You are classed as a worker, not a visitor. Before your current work permit expires, you will need to apply to change your status and extend your stay as a visitor.

Hope you are doing well.

I was wondering if you could help us...?

Long story short... my partner left in June to work in Vancouver and I stayed in London because of my job.
We lived together for 13 months in London until he had to go to Vancouver.

Applied already 2 times for a visitor visa and they denied it on the basis they don't trust i'll leave when i said i will.

What's the best option after that? We are desperate and don't know what to do...

I have Argentinean passport and that's why I can't get a Eta at the moment.
