Hi There,
Me and my common law partner have been living together for an year and we pay all our rent in cash since none of the landlords we have been with till date have given us an official lease.
I have two questions:
- Can telling the address we live at right now put the landlord under problem?
- We can show telephone bills (for calls to each other, addresses are different since we never thought to go this route and update address), bank statements (for same address), DL (for same address), and photos. We can also get notarized documents from my parents only.

Would that be enough as a proof?

Nothing to do with your landlord.

You need to look at the checklist and make sure you meet the requirements.

Hi there!
Is life insurance, 14 months of joint rent receipts, and a notarized IMM 5409 form proof enough to apply under common-law?

I'll provide my own answer to that matter, it might help someone: Yes, we also attached a few photos of us to show our bond, but that was enough.
