Hello everyone!
I am looking to sponsor my German partner. For the last two years we have lived in Germany, so we will be filing as Outland.

Our situation is a bit different. We had looked at around 15 different rental properties and every one of them stated I could not be signed on to the agreement as I am not a PR or German Citizen. Thus, my partners name is the only one on the agreement. We have been living together at our current place since March of 2020.

These are the proofs we have thought about:
- City Registration stating the date of move in with our names on it and address. We had this done the day we moved in together, so it has the date as well.(Amtliche Meldebestätigung für die Anmeldung). Signed my a government official.
-German ID’s with our address on them
-Written letter of explanation as to why there is no rental agreement
-Bank statements and paystubs from each of us
-Notarized letters from family stating we have lived at this address for the entire time mentioned above.
-Statutory Declaration of Common Law notarized
-Trips and the bills from it
- Utilities bill (however some are only in my partners name, as he could only sign it) + phone bills
-Written letter from our landlord notorized?
-Proof of Financial Support through bank transfers between my partner and I going back 2 years.
-letters from each of us talking about eachother, our future plans and what we love about eachother.

i am feeling extremely anxious about our application and it’s causing me to be in a lot of distress :( i love my partner very much he’s my whole world and I really want this application to work. If anyone has any other recommendations for what we could provide please do!!

It sounds like you have a lot of evidence of cohabitation for 12+ months. Explain in a letter of your own and maybe get one from the landlord explaining and I personally think you don't have much to stress about on that front. If you're really stressed about it, may I suggest getting married - then you no longer have to prove 12 months of continuous cohabitation (but I do think you'll be fine with what you have).

I was in the same situation, but we got married which lowered the burden of proof. I just provided examples you did (government registered address, utility bills in both names, etc) and it went through fine.

Your situation's not that different, a lot of countries have their own specific things. I'd say what you have is pretty complete.

As noted, getting married would remove the issue entirely (and all your other info would be proof of relationship), but that's up to tyou.
