Common-law proof help

Hi all,

We're stuck, my partner and I cannot proove he lived at my address for the first 4 months of our relationship. In total we have just over 12 months living together but are unable to prove the first 4 months as he had no mail, or wasn't on the lease, we have included letters from the other people living at the address stating he was a paying tenant, but will that be enough?

Can you get a letter from the landlord for your first 4 months stating that he was living there, just not on the lease?

Letters of support from friends/family documenting that he was living there will be a good start too.

Hi,
When we applied as common-law, I wasn't on the lease at the first property we lived together at. We got a letter from the landlord who verified I was living there. We had no problems. Good luck.
